Ehretia Ball, 40 to 120 cm, delivered across the UAE
An Ehretia ball is an Ehretia microphylla plant clipped into a dense, even sphere and grown in a pot. We supply five sizes, from 40 to 120 cm including the pot, to landscapers, designers, nurseries and homes across the UAE. Delivery takes 2 to 3 days.

How it grows
From young plant to finished shape. Our nursery takes about 5 to 6 months to reach the final stage.

Stage 1
A wire frame sets the round shape. The young plant sits low inside it and the frame is fully visible.

Stage 2
New shoots reach up the frame. The base starts to thicken, but there are still large gaps.

Stage 3
The plant fills the lower half of the sphere. Regular trimming starts to build a dense surface.

Stage 4
The sphere is almost full. Only the top of the frame still shows through the leaves.

Stage 5
The finished ball: a full, even sphere with the frame hidden under leaves.

Care in short
- Full sun. These are outdoor plants, grown in the sun all year.
- Water: our nursery waters twice a day in summer and once a day in winter. Check the top 2 to 3 cm of soil and adjust to your pot and soil.
- First two weeks: plant in sweet soil, add fertilizer and water well for the first two days, then go back to normal watering.
- Trim lightly every week to keep the shape tight and full.
- Yellow leaves are the most common question we get. They usually point to watering or drainage. The guide explains how to check.
- Keep a ball even by trimming lightly and often, turning your eye around the whole shape so no side gets ahead.
